Late News 2011 Hayle Estuary RSPB: The colour-ringed and tagged Dunlin photographed by Steve Rogers in early May 2011 was ringed as an adult on 16th March 2011 on the Tagus estuary in Portugal. (S Rogers & M Grantham)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern, 1 Little Egret, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 15 Teal, 10 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Wigeon, 18 Moorhen, 1+ Water Rail, 1 Little Grebe, 2 Buzzard, 3 Snipe, 1 Oystercatcher, 2 Redwing, 2 Stonechat, 4 Chiffchaff and 2 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker & P Semmens)

Penzance, Eastern Green: 2W Little Gull, male Black Redstart, Long-tailed Duck, 3 Eiders (2 fem + imm male), 2 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Black-throated Diver and 1 Great Northern Diver. Also 1W Med Gull on the Heliport. (D Parker & P Semmens)

Bude Breakwater: 4 Turnstone, 2 Purple Sandpiper, 1 Ringed Plover, 1 Kingfisher and 1 Skua sp rapidly west, far out. Also 40+ Black headed Gulls and 9 Herring Gulls. (H Kendall)Helston Loe Pool: Female type Bufflehead showing well from hide, Bittern left hand side of hide 15:00. Also female Bullfinch, 8 Long-tailed Tit and 2 Goldcrest. (W Chegwidden) Swallow reported over the sewerage works plus 2 Siberian Chiffchaff with 15 Chiffchaff.

Torpoint: 7 Dark-bellied Brent Geese and an adult Mediterranean Gull. (R Treeby)

Millbrook: Female Red-breasted Merganser plus the long staying Egyptian Goose. (R Treeby)

Treraven Meadow: 40+ Meadow Pipit, 2 Green Sandpiper, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Shelduck, 22 Wigeon and 60 Teal. (C Selway)

Sennen: Ringtail Hen Harrier over Trinity Pool. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Chapel Amble: Glossy Ibis showing well in field opposite village car park.

Hannafore Point: Black Redstart at west end of promenade still and 1 Slavonian Grebe offshore.

Sennen Cove: Adult Little Gull.

Dozmary Pool: Probable drake Lesser Scaup still but distant.

Carbis Bay: 2 Balearic Shearwaters and 3 Great Northern Divers.

Par: 2 Water Pipits on the beach and drake Ring-necked Duck on Par Beach Pool.
