Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern, 1 Little Egret, 10 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 2 hybrid goose, 20 Teal, 6 Mallard, 1 Shoveler, 21 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 2 Snipe. 1 Stonechat, 2 Chiffchaff and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Falmouth: 2 Purple Sandpiper at Pendennis Point, 3 Black Redstart at Castle Beach sea wall and 2 Blackcaps (1 male, 1 female) coming to a bird table in a private garden. Helston Loe Pool: Bufflehead still at the North end, 7 Goosander (2 male), 2 Goldeneye (1 male), 7 Great Crested grebe and at least 5 Firecrest east side of the pool. (S Bury)

Feock: 17 Red-breasted Merganser, 1 Great Crested Grebe and 12+ smaller Grebe species, but very distant off Loe Beach. (A Nicholson)

Gothian Sands LNR: Juv Glaucous Gull 8:30 – 8:45am on main pool then flew south towards Hayle. 1 Water Pipit, 3 Med Gull (1W, 2W, adW), 44 Pochard, 11 Tufted Duck, 17 Common Teal, 8 Canada Goose, 1 hybrid goose, 4 Shelduck, 4 Mute Swan, 4 Sky Lark, 150+ Golden Plover over, 1 Lapwing, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Moorhen, 30+ Meadow Pipit, 2 Stonechat and 1 Grey Wagtail. Gwithian Sewage Works: 5+ Chiffchaff, possible Siberian Chiffchaff, and 1 Goldcrest. (T Twiggs)

Reskadinnick Sewage Works: 1 Green Woodpecker, 2 Jay and 1 Bullfinch. (T Twiggs)

Guineaport to Polbrock: 7+ Siskin, 1 Oystercatcher, Teal, Blue Tit, Great Tit, Marsh Tit, Coal Tit, Long-tailed Tit, Great Spotted Woodpecker, Nuthatch, Treecreeper, Song Thrush, Redwing, Mistle Thrush, Pied Wagtail, Grey Wagtail, Meadow Pipits, 7 Wigeon, Robin (carrying nest material), Peregrine, 2 Buzzards, kingfisher. Quite a few frogs and a fair bit of frogspawn in the `pond` just before the iron bridge. (W Delacour)
