Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Little Egret, 10 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 3 Greylag, 20 Teal, 6 Mallard, 1 Coot, 8 Moorhen, 7 Snipe, 1 Water Pipit (in reeds in dog walking area), 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Stonechat, 1 Chiffchaff and 3 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Newlyn: Ad Glaucous Gull still in the harbour. (L Proctor & A Mckechnie)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Juv Iceland Gull from the causeway at 10:00 then flew out towards the sea, also 6 (1 ad, 3 2w, 2 1w) Med Gulls. (C Barnard)

Helston: Loe Pool: 1 Bufflehead still. Also 1 Firecrest and 1 singing Chiffchaff by the hide, 2m 4f Goosander between the hide and Carminowe Creek, 3 Great Crested Grebe, c10 Pochard, 1 Goldeneye and 2 ‘sinensis‘ race Cormorants among a flock in creek mouth. (CBWPS fielding meeting per R Hooper)

Penhalvean: 1 Bufflehead on a private lake this afternoon. (J Chapple)


Carminowe: Yellow-browed Warbler still. (S Bury)

Gannel Estuary: 2 juv Iceland Gulls late afternoon; also 12 Med Gull in morning (5 1W, 2 2W, 5 ad). (S Rowe)

Falmouth: 2 f Black Redstart and 1 Grey Wagtail on Castle Beach. (J St Ledger)

Par: Ring-necked Duck still at Par Beach pool. Also Dark-bellied Brent Goose on the beach by the river mouth.

Marazion: Black Redstart on the beach.

Sennen Cove: Ad and juv Iceland Gulls on Cowloe.
