Late News, 08/02 Penzance: Slavonian Grebe offshore. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Bittern, 1 Little Egret, 11 Grey Heron, 2 Cormorant, 6 Mute Swan, 2 Greylag, 2 hybrid geese, 3 Shelduck, 9 Teal, 5 Mallard, 1 Shoveler, 1 Coot, 23 Moorhen, 1 Little Grebe, 4 Snipe, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Chiffchaff and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Also 18 Sanderling and 7 Ringed Plover on the beach and 3 Eider offshore. (D Parker & B Mellow)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Ad Little Gull, 1 adult Yellow legged Gull ,6 Med Gulls including one in full summer plumage, 1 Guillemot and 25 Bar-tailed Godwit. (B Mellow)

Porthgwarra: Sea watch between 09:30 & 11:00 produced 600 auks (mainly Guillemots), 23 Puffin and 1 G N Diver. (B Mellow)

Kingsmill Lake:Lesser Yellowlegs again, view from China Fleet Club nature trail, far hide SX427608. Best looked for on the dropping tide, but always distant. (M Beer)

Falmouth, Pendennis: 3 Purple Sandpipers and an adult Med Gull. (D Chaney)
