Marazion Marsh RSPB: 7 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 8 Mute Swan, 3 Canada Geese, 2 Greylag, 1 hybrid geese, 7 Mallard, 6 Moorhen, 2 Cormorant, c20 Sand Martin, 1 Swallow, 2 Willow Warbler, 2 Chiffchaff, 3 Reed Warbler, 3 Sedge Warbler and 4 Cetti’s Warbler. Also 100+ Whimbrel on the beach and 5+ Sandwich Terns offshore. (D Parker & C Barnard)

Eastern Green: 55 Whimbrel flew north over the beach. (P St Pierre)

Buttermilk Hill: 12 Wheatears (4 female and 8 male), 4 Common Buzzards and 4 Ravens. (V Stratton)

Pendennis Point 8:30 – 10:30: 100’s Gannet, 1000+ Manx Shearwater, 23, 9 & 1 Whimbrel, c50 Golden Plover, 3 Bonxie, 2 ad pale morph Pomarine Skua (1 with full spoons), 2 skua sp (probable 1 Arctic, and 1 possible Long-tailed), many 100’s auk sp, 2 Fulmar, 110+ Kittiwake, 13 Sandwich Tern all west. Also 1f Mallard with 4 ducklings NW, arriving west side of the Point and 1 Swallow flew east. Also on the point 4 Linnet and 2 Rock Pipit. (D Chaney)

Gorrangorras, Penryn River: 3 Common Sandpipers, 3 Greenshank, 14 Whimbrel north, 6 Mute Swan, 5 Mallard and a Swallow over the high tide. (D Chaney)

College Reservoir: 11 Cormorant, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Mute Swan, 3 Canada Goose, 5 Mallard, 1 Coot, 6+ Moorhen and 4+ Willow Warbler. (D Chaney)

Argal Reservoir: c60 Swallow, c60 Sand Martin, 1 House Martin, 1 Grey Wagtail, 1 Great Crested Grebe, 1 Tufted Duck and 7+ Mallard. (D Chaney)

Walmsley Sanctuary (CBWPS Members Only): 1 female Blue-winged Teal, 1 Cattle Egret, 2 Whimbrel, 1 Knot, 12 Black-tailed Godwit, 5 House Martin, 200+ Swallow, 60+ Sand Martin, 1 Sparrowhawk and 1 Sedge Warbler. (C Selway)

Wadebridge: Large flock of mixed hirundines along the river at Egloshayle this evening, mainly swallows but several Sand Martins and House Martins too. 2 Siskins in the park. One Hobby flew over Treraven meadows towards the town. 1 Grey Heron and 2 Shelduck in Treraven. (W Delacour)
