Late News 06/07 Truro: m Siskin in a private garden in the evening. (D Jenkins)

Late News 06/07 Siblyback Lake: Adult Great Crested Grebe with 2 large chicks, 1 Pochard, 6 Tufted Duck, Mallards with 2 broods, 3 Cormorants, 1 Dabchick, Coots, Moorhens, 2 Great Black backed Gull,1 Lesser Black backed Gull, 2Black headed Gull, 1 singing Reed Bunting, 5 Siskin, a pair Treecreepers, 3 Sedge Warbler and 6 Pied Wagtail. Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 2 Canada Geese, 18 Mallard plus 4 new ducklings, 2 Moorhen, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Stonechat, Sedge Warblers, Reed Warblers and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Pendeen: c3600 Manx Shearwaters west between 09:30 & 10:30, also 2 peregrines around the lighthouse and 2 Basking Sharks offshore. (P St Pierre)

Marazion: 1 Little Tern and 3 Common Terns offshore. (P St Pierre)

Hayle estuary RSPB: 3 Common Sandpipers and 11 Redshank on Ryan’s Field and 20 Black-headed Gulls on Copperhouse. (P St Pierre) Also 3 sum plum Knot on the main estuary. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Penryn River: 2 Greenshank, 14 Redshank, 11 Curlew, 2 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron, 2 Mute Swan + 3 cygnets, 35+ Black-headed Gull, 2 Peregrine (over) at 3pm, being mobbed by group of 8 Herring Gull, 2 Green Woodpecker (1 female adult + 1 juvenile), 2 Jay, 4 Bullfinch, 2 Blackcap, 2 Nuthatch (going into hole in oak tree – possibly second brood?) 4 House Martin and 1 Buzzard. Truro: Male Siskin in a private garden again this morning. (D Jenkins)Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth: 4 Mediterranean Gull (3 ad & 1 2s), 1 Sandwich Tern fishing, 2 Little Egret and 1 bull Grey Seal (very large male) 5 metres from the shoreline, apparently fishing. (R Matias)

Walmsley Sanctuary (CBWPS Members Only): 7 ad Lapwing this morning. (C Selway & D Julian)

Clapper Marshes: 2 Common Sandpiper this evening. (D Julian)

Camel Estuary: 5 Greenshank, 7 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel, 3 Mediterranean Gull and 2 Common Sandpiper at Dinham Flats. (D Julian)
