Late News 02/2012 Lizard: The Woodcocks that were satellite tagged on the Lizard in February 2012 are now on their breeding territories and show an interesting mix of destinations with birds in Sweden and Belarus and 2 birds in Russia. One of the Russian nesting birds is now a staggering 5800Km east of Cornwall. More information here. (M Grantham)

Rock, Camel Estuary: 27 Mediterranean Gull (11 adult, 8 second year, 7 first year and a juvenile) off Rock this morning. (D Julian)

Dinham Flats, Camel Estuary: 23 Little Egret, 4 Black-tailed Godwit, 227 Curlew and 4 Whimbrel 3 Common Sandpiper, 1 Ruff, 1 summer plumage Knot, 2 broods of Shelduck, 2 Sandwich Tern, at least 2 juv Black-headed Gull and 9 Mediterranean Gull (5 ad, 2 1w & 2 2w) 2 Common Redshank and 1 Common Sandpiper at Old Town Bridge.
