Late News 20/07 Lizard: 29 Storm Petrels ringed at Hot Point, Lizard in the early hours of the morning. (M Grantham)

Lizard: 23 Storm Petrels ringed at Hot Point, Lizard in the early hours of the morning including 3 French ringed birds. (M Grantham)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 2 Mute Swan, 2 Canada Geese, 2 Mallard, 5 Moorhen plus 3 full grown young, 1+ Common Sandpiper, 5 Swift, 3+ Swallow, 1 Stonechat, Reed Warblers and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Drift Reservoir: (CBWPS members only): 4 Mute Swan, 171 Canada Geese, 49 Greylag, 11 hybrid geese, 61 Mallard plus 1 duckling, 5 Call Duck, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Moorhen, 3 Cormorant, 2 Grey Heron, 8 Common Sandpiper, 95 Herring Gull, 3 Buzzard, 3 Reed Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler, 1 Whitethroat, 4+ Willow Warbler plus 3 young still being fed by parent, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Reed Bunting and 2 Raven. Devoran: Tonight there were 206 Curlew, 5 Whimbrel, 146 Redshank, 17 Greenshank [including a returning colour ringed bird that was ringed as a juvĀ  nr Perth, Scotland, Black over Blue left leg and orange over Blue right leg] 6 Dunlin and one Black Tailed Godwit. Also there was one juv Med Gull. (B Mellow)

Pendeen: 1 Balearic Shearwater this morning. Also 2 flocks of about 20 Common Scoter and this evening a few very distant shearwaters & dolphins chasing a shoal of bait fish. (A Hartley)
