Late News 24/07 Wadebridge: 2 Med Gulls hawking over Wadebridge in the evening, plus 16 Swift including some juveniles over Glen Road. (C Selway)

Late News 24/07 Kynance: 3 Choughs seen near the cliffs about a mile north of Kynance Cove. (P McKeogh)

Late News 24/07 Lizard: 32 more Storm Petrels ringed overnight at Hot Point, Lizard. That brings the numbers caught to 84 in three nights now, including the three French-ringed birds. (M Grantham)

Late News 24/07 Treen, St Levan: 120 Swallows on wires (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Grey Heron, 3 Mute Swan, 2+ Little Egret, 9 Mallard plus 2 well grown duckling, 4 Moorhen plus 3 full grown and a different downy young, 1 Raven, c150 mostly juv Swallow (grounded by the evening sea mist), 10 Crossbills over north and calling, fem Reed Bunting and Reed Warblers. Marazion: 21 Sanderling, 6 Turnstone and 1+ Whimbrel on the beach. (D Parker)

Penryn, Gorrangorras: 1 Turnstone, 34 Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 1 Oystercatcher, 1 Grey Heron, 14 Curlew, 2 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan + 3 cygnet, 1 Kestrel. (J St Ledger)

Pendeen: 1 Sand Martin and 6 Swifts flew over near the lighthouse; also a pod of about a dozen Dolphins close in-shore by the lighthouse. (A Hartley)

Camel Estuary/Rumps: 1 Common Sandpiper opposite the quarry, 2 Med Gulls, 9+ Sandwich Terns including juveniles (video of the sandwich terns here),1 Puffin flying around with a bill full of Sand Eels but did not land (wary of all the gulls on Mouls Island?) and 3 Common Dolphins (2 adult and 1 young). Newquay: 1 Wilsons Petrel, 30 Storm Petrel, 2 Common Tern, c100 Manx Shearwater, plus 7 Blue Shark, 40+ Common Dolphin and 2 Leatherback Turtle 20 miles NW of Newquay on a pelagic with Atlantic Diver. (S Rogers)
