Late News 07/08 Polmorla: A Little Owl heard calling in bad weather. (C Selway)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Grey Heron, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 7+ Little Egret, 9 Mallard plus 2 well grown duckling, 3 Moorhen plus 7 full grown and 1 downy young, 1 Stonechat, 1 Reed Bunting and Reed Warblers. (D Parker)

Marazion: 8 Sanderling, 7 Turnstone, 1 Dunlin and 2 Ringed Plover on the beach plus 2 drake Common Scoter and 50+ Common Dolphins offshore. (D Parker & P Fraser)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 3 Med Gull (ad, 2w & juv), 3 Sandwich Tern, 38 Curlew, 27 Oystercatcher, 16 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 8 Little Egret, 3 Grey Heron, 8 Mute Swan, 3 Canada Geese, 2 juv Shelduck, c10 Swift and 2 juv Carrion Crow being fed by parents on Lelant Water from the platform at high tide. 77 Curlew, 1 Whimbrel, 3 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Oystercatcher, 5 Med Gull (ad, 2w, 2 1w & 1 juv), 1 juv Moorhen and 2 Little Egret on Ryan’s Field. 1 ad Pectoral Sandpiper, 64 Dunlin and 58 Ringed Plover on Carnsew Spit. 1 Common Sandpiper in Carnsew Pool. Walmsley Sanctuary (CBWPS Members Only): 6 Black-headed Gull, 1 Buzzard, 4 Carrion Crow, 5 Coot, 1 Gadwall, 50 + Goldfinch, 1 Greenshank, 1 Green Sandpiper, 6 Grey Heron, 2 Herring Gull, 1 House Martin, 10 Jackdaw, 2 Kingfisher, 10+ Linnet, 5 Little Egret, 7 Little Grebe, 25+ Mallard, 10 Moorhen, 2 Mute Swan, 4 Pied Wagtail 4 Raven, 2 Sedge Warbler, 4 Snipe, 2 Stock Dove, 1 Sparrowhawk, 10 Swallow and 10 Wood Pigeon.
