Late News 14/08 Walmsley Sanctuary (CBWPS Members Only): 7 Green Sandpiper, 18 Snipe, 1 Lapwing, 1 Whimbrel, 1 Water Rail, 6 Gadwall, 16 Teal, 3 Shoveler, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Sedge Warbler, 2 Sand Martin and 80+ Goldfinch in the evening. (C Selway)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 2 Mute Swan, 1 Cormorant, 3 Mallard, 2 ad Moorhen plus 3 full grown young, 1 Turnstone over and 10 Oystercatcher over, 1 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper and 1 Reed Bunting. Hayle Estuary RSPB: 23 Curlew Sandpiper (all ad, 21 in partial sum plum), 150+ Dunlin, 233 Ringed Plover, 45 Bar-tailed Godwit, 31 Sanderling, 3 Oystercatcher, 19 Knot, 9 Turnstone, 5 Curlew, 2 Whimbrel, 1 Grey Plover, 2w Med Gull, 6 Cormorant and 1 Kestrel in Carnsew Basin. 2 Greenshank, 3 Common Sandpiper, 2 Knot, 19 Redshank, 22 Oystercatcher, c75 Curlew, 21 Greylag, 2 Canada Geese, 1 hybrid goose, 16 Little Egret, 8 Grey Heron, 5 Med Gull (1 ad, 2 2w, 1 1w & 1 juv), 44 Sandwich Tern, 18 Common Tern, 4 Arctic Tern and 11 Little Tern on Lelant Water. 1 ad Med Gull, 1 Common Tern, 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel and c60 Curlew on Ryan’s Field.
