Hayle Estuary RSPB: 3 Pectoral Sandpipers off the causeway early morning still. Still present at 12:45 and 17:30 at least, plus 2w Med Gull, 34 Oystercatcher, 18 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 20 Teal and 3 Wigeon. Also 43 Greylag, 10 hybrid geese, c120 Canada Geese and 20 Black-tailed Godwit on Ryan’s Field and 54 Dunlin, 33 Ringed Plover and 12 Turnstone on Carnsew Spit. (L Proctor, D Flumm & D Parker)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: Still 2 Spotted Crakes (including the ringed bird) showing well from the standing stone on and off throughout the day. Also 3 Grey Heron, 3 Little Egret, 4 Mute Swan with 4 cygnets, 3 Cormorant, 6 Mallard, 5 ad Moorhen plus 14 full grown young and 2 downy young, 1 Kestrel, 1 Wheatear, Sedge Warblers and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Marazion: 40 Ringed Plover, 30 Sanderling, 50 Dunlin, 20 Turnstone 1 Knot and 1 Oystercatcher on the beach. (D Flumm & D Parker)

Porthgwarra: 1 Cory’s Shearwater, 3 Great Shearwater, 10 Balearic Shearwater, 10 Sooty Shearwater, 32 Storm Petrel, 8 Great Skua and 2 Arctic Skua. Also 3 Ocean sunfish and 3 Basking Shark. (I Evans & P Fraser) Also a wholly unconfirmed report of a Barolo’s Little Shearwater at 18:05.

Rumps Point to Pentire Point: 20+ Cormorant, 20+ Fulmar, 100+ Gannet, 20+ Great Black-backed Gull, 20+ Herring Gull, 20 House Sparrow, 6 Jackdaw, 2 Kestrel, 12 Linnet, 4 Magpie, 9 Oystercatcher, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Pheasant, 1 Peregrine Falcon, 20+ Rook, 1 Raven, 20+ Rock Pipit, 8 Shag, 2 Stonechat, 10 Swallow, 2 Wheatear and 7 Wood Pigeon.
