Late News 06/09 Mounts Bay: 1 Great Northern Diver from Marazion. (P St Pierre & D Flumm)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: Spotted Crake still from the standing stone, also 11 Grey Heron, 3+ Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 8 Mute Swan, 2 Mallard, 5 ad Moorhen plus 11 young, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Peregrine, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Wheatear, 1 Stonechat, 1 Chiffchaff, Reed Warblers and Sedge Warblers.  (D Parker, D Flumm & R Farnes)

Siblyback Lake: 1 Black Tern this afternoon often at the dam end of the reservoir. (M Beer)
Mullion: 1 Wryneck on the coast path above the cliffs south of the cove opposite the island. (S Bury & T Blunden)

Caerthillian: 6 Yellow Wagtails spp (two probable Blue-headed). (I Maclean)

Lizard Downs: 1 Short-eared Owl. (I Maclean)

Windmill Farm: 17 Yellow Wagtail spp., 1 Tree Pipit, 2 Whinchat. Also 1 Clouded Yellow butterfly. (I Maclean)

Argal Reservoir: 5 Great Crested Grebes (2ad and 3 grown young), 2 Mute Swans (adults), 23 Mallard, a Grey Heron and 2 Grey Wagtails. Half a dozen or so Chiffchaff heard calling. (D Chaney)

College Reservoir: 2 Herring Gull, 16 Cormorant and 1 Grey Heron. Water Rail, Curlews and Green Woodpecker heard. (D Chaney)

Penryn River: 26 Curlew, 40 Redshank, 3 Greenshank, 10+ Turnstone, 2 Cormorant, 2 Little Grebe and 12+ Swallows

Walmsley Sanctuary: A stunning leucistic Common Snipe, 2  Pectoral Sandpiper, 5 Black-tailed Godwit, 6 Greenshank, 2 Green Sandpiper, 26 Common Snipe, 3 Ringed Plover, 30+ Teal, 4 Blackcap, 8 Sedge Warbler, 1 Goldcrest and 6 Whinchat. (C Selway)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 2 Pectoral Sandpipers and a Curlew Sandpiper at the east end of Copperhouse Creek.
