Marazion: Tawny Owl in the early hours by the pump station. 8 Turnstone, 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Oystercatcher and 1 Wheatear on the beach. (D Parker & A Hartley)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 3 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 2 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 34 Mallard, 7 Teal, 19 ad & 3 juv Moorhen, 2 Little Grebe, 1 Water Rail, 1 Curlew over, 1 Stonechat, c20 Meadow Pipit and 2 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

Sennen: 1 Glossy Ibis in stubble field by track to Trevorian Farm in the morning. (R Carrington)

Pendeen: Olive-backed Pipit on the coast path south west of the coastguard cottages on the road down to the lighthouse at c08:30 SW 379354. (I Kendall) Initially extremely mobile and elusive in the bracken and long grass it finally gave itself up at SW 374351 thanks largely to the perseverence of LGR Evans. Lizard, Church Cove: Paddyfield Warbler showing well north of the village on the coastpath between 09:30 and 10:30 and throughout the day, also 1 Siskin, 2 Sand Martins and a few Swallows passing through. Treraven Meadows: c46 Teal, 13 Mute Swans, 1 Green Sandpiper, Common Sandpiper calling on the main river, Pied Wagtail, Curlew, and a large number of Canada Geese. (W Delacour)

Walmsley Sanctuary: A trickle of moving Swallows, 1 Pintail, 1 Shoveler, 1 Gadwall, 12 Wigeon, 21 Lapwing, 2 Golden Plover, 30+ Curlew, 10+ Snipe, 2 Water Rail, 3 Cormorant, 12 Siskin, 40+ Meadow Pipit, 1 White Wagtail, 3 Pied Wagtail, 2 Jay, 1 Mistle Thrush, 1 Kestrel and 1 Peregrine Falcon. Mullion: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler north of the caravan park at 15:30. (S Bury)

Plain an Gwarry: Yellow-browed Warbler and 50+ Swallows. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Kenidjack: Yellow-browed Warbler and 2 Firecrests by the paddocks.

Cot Valley: 2 Firecrests by the old wooden sheds at 13:42. Also 1 Yellow-browed Warbler and another Firecrest in the valley.

Rame Head: Yellow-browed Warbler in the churchyard at 13:40.

Porthgwarra: Yellow-browed Warbler still in 60′ Cover. Snow Bunting still on the moor.

Cawsand: Fem Ring Ouzel in field north of road between Forder and Kingsand

Loe Pool, Helston: Great White Egret in the reeds in the NE corner late afternoon.
