Marazion Marsh RSPB: 5 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 2 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 4 Canada Geese, 2 hybrid geese, 7 Mallard, 1 Aylesbury Duck, 7 Teal, 26 ad and 2 juv Moorhen, 3 Little Grebe, 4 Water Rail, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Curlew, 3 Stonechat, 1 Chiffchaff, 5 Cetti’s Warbler, 4 Goldcrest, 10 Meadow Pipit and 5 Pied Wagtail plus 700 Jackdaw west. Land’s End: 1 Brambling, 2 Redpoll, c12 Siskin, 8 Snipe, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 15 Song Thrush, c120 Meadow Pipit and 2+ Water Rail. (D Parker) Also Wryneck again by the hay bales and a Corncrake flushed. (P Adams)

Trevilley: 3 Snipe, 1 Peregrine, 2 Buzzard and 12 Long-tailed Tit. (D Parker)

Roskestal Farm: Ad male Serin in first brassica field to the north of the track to St Levan at 11:45. (M Wallace) Later seen on wires by the farm buildings at 15:25. St Levan: Yellow-browed warbler and 4 Firecrests by the turning circle west of the church. (M Wallace & B Field) Also 6 Balearic Shearwaters offshore reported from the Scillonian 111

Penberth: 10+ Firecrests and a Snow Bunting. (R White & B Field)

Kenidjack: Red-breasted Flycatcher and Yellow-browed Warbler again in the copse by the engine shed. (P Clarke)

Nanquidno: 5 Firecrest, 6 Great Spotted Woodpecker, Blackcap and Great Northern Diver over. (Oriole Birding & B Moore)

Truro: 1 Dipper on the river behind the Wig and Pen in the afternoon. (D Jenkins)

Bissoe Valley: Two Firecrest just east of the viaduct in the evening. (M Grantham)

Gweek: Male Mandarin opposite the seal sanctuary on rising tide this evening. (D Collins)

Cadgwith: 2 Crossbills and 2 Firecrests. (D Collins)

Lizard Village: Lesser Redpoll and Brambling over. (D Collins)

Watergate Bay: 2 Wheatear, 1 Kestrel, 2 Buzzard and 3 Chough. (W Delacour)

Stepper Point: 4 Great Spotted Woodpecker, as a group flew from the NE in over the estuary and continued SW along the cliffs. (C Selway)

St Ives: Red Kite flew over Towednack towards Buttermilk Hill at 11:05.

Carn Euny: 1w Glossy Ibis in flooded field 1 mile SW of Sancreed, west of Carn Euny car park.

Lizard: Red-backed Shrike showing well on hedges around the Waterings at Housel Bay.

Porthgwarra: Richard’s Pipit flew towards Arden-Sawah at 11:20, a Lapland Bunting flew east and 1 Firecrest.

Brew: 3 1w Glossy Ibis in the marshy field south of Brew Pool, visible from the track beyond the sewerage works at cSW 365251.

Falmouth: Juv Purple Heron still at College Reservoir at 11:20.

 Cot Valley: Yellow-browed Warbler still.
