Late News 25/10 Par Beach Pool: 3 Pochard (1 m 2f), 5 Shoveler (2m 3f), 5 Tufted Duck (2 m, 1 f & 2 juv), 1 Little Egret, Water Rail (heard),  Reed Bunting (f), 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Chiffchaff, and 1 f Bullfinch. Also a 3rd cy ‘graellsii’  LBB Gull with a single metal (BTO?) ring on its left leg. (St Austell Baywatch)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 4 Mute Swan plus 4 cygnets, 2 Canada Geese, 11 Mallard, 1 Aylesbury Duck, 10 Teal, 1 Little Grebe, 1 Water Rail, 12 Moorhen, 2 Snipe, 14 Curlew (over), 6 Meadow Pipit, 1 Stonechat and 2 Cetti’s Warbler. (D Parker)

St Levan: Yellow-browed Warbler north of the church by the dried up pool and 11 Lapland Buntings on the path to Roskestal Farm.

Porthgwarra: Richard’s Pipit and Snow Bunting still on the moor and 5 Woodlarks at Gwennap Head.

Maer Lake, Bude: 4 Pink-footed Geese at 11:55.

St Just: Black Redstart by the Bolitho Club at 11:30.

Towednack: 2 Black Redstarts at the Old Vicarage.
