Late News 08/12 Tehidy Country Park: Great White Egret in trees before flying east to Illogan.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 9 Mute Swan (inc 4 juv), 19 Mallard, 28 Teal, 3 Little Grebe, 1 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 1 Water Rail, 7 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 1 Kestrel, 14 Snipe, 1 Stonechat, 2 Redwing and 2 Song Thrush. (D Parker)

Marazion: Pacific Diver still plus 3 Great Northern Divers, imm male Scaup and 40 Common Scoter offshore and 23 Sanderling on the beach. (C Barnard and D Parker)

Rosevine-Portscatho: 6 Great Northern Diver, 6 Black-throated Diver, 1 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Long-tailed Duck, 1 Whimbrel, 130 Dunlin, 16 Med Gull and 1 male Black Redstart. (S Rogers)

Sancreed: 1 Firecrest in a private garden; 1 Little Egret west, 50 Lapwing, 2 Snipe, 50 Redwing, 10 Fieldfare, 40 Blackbird, 10 Song Thrush and 300 Chaffinch in the area. (D Flumm)

Tresillian: 1 Spotted Redshank and 14 SnipeĀ  at Tresemple Pool in the afternoon. (M Jones)

Windmill Farm: Male (sub adult) Marsh Harrier again. (D Wright)

St Ives Bay: 7 Great Northern Diver, 1 Red-throated Diver, 1 Eider (imm male), 3 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Little Egret plus 70 auks (mostly Razorbills) were seen loafing on the water.. Also 5+ Harbour Porpoise from 08:30-15:30. (R Wynn)

Falmouth: c50 Curlew and 5 Oystercatcher on the school playing field on Trescobeas Road. (D Chaney) Also Waxwing still on Marlborough Crescent.

Lower Porthpean: 2 Great Northern Divers.

Longrock: 1w Yellow-legged Gull on the beach in the afternoon.

Newlyn: Black Redstart still at Sandy Cove. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Penzance: Black Redstart still on rocks by the railway station.

Mounts Bay: Velvet Scoter, 1 Black-throated Diver, 12 Great Northern Diver and Slavonian Grebe.

Drift Reservoir (Members Only): 1w Pink-footed Goose still with Greylag and Canada Geese. (Sometimes visible from the car park or the Sancreed road, please park with care.) (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)
