Late News 10/12 Porthgwarra: 2 Balearic Shearwaters W, 1 Great Northern Diver E, 7 Black-throated Diver W, 2 Red-throated Diver, 1 Hooded Crow (or hybrid – only seen distantly), 1 Black Redstart (fem/imm), 2 Choughs and100 Chaffinch E. Also 85+ Common Dolphins (one loose pod slowly moving W) and 10+ Harbour Porpoise. (R Wynn)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 8 Mute Swan (inc 4 juv), 21 Mallard, 37 Teal, 5 Little Grebe, 1 Little Egret, 7 Grey Heron, 1+ Water Rail, 11 Moorhen, 1 Coot, 1 Buzzard, 3 Oystercatcher, 15 Snipe, 1 Stonechat, 2 Redwing and 2 Song Thrush. Marazion: Pacific Diver still plus 5+ Great Northern Divers, 1 Dark-bellied Brent Goose, 2 Velvet Scoter and 1 male Red Breasted Merganser offshore plus 21 Sanderling and 1 Stonechat on the beach. Drift Reservoir (Members Only): 1w Pink-footed Goose still with 47 Greylag, 162 Canada Geese and 9 hybrid geese. (Normally visible from the car park or the Sancreed road, please park with care.) St Ives: 16 Great Northern Diver (incl flocks of 8 & 3), 1 Red-throated Diver, 36 Common Scoter W, 3 Mediterranean Gull (2w & 2 ads), 1 Little Egret, 2 Peregrine, 2 Black Redstart (ad male + fem/imm) and 1 Raven. Also 2 Bottlenose Dolphins slowly heading NE from Carbis Bay to Godrevy Point. (R Wynn)

Trescobeas Park, Falmouth: 10+ Siskin and 1 Lesser Redpoll in the alders. There were also 20+ Greenfinch, 1 Blackcap (m), 20+ Blackbird, 8 Redwing, 4+ Goldfinch, 4 Chaffinch and 2 Goldcrest. The nearby stubble field held 3 Snipe, c15 Skylark, c10 Meadow Pipit, 2 Song Thrush, 7 Dunnock, 3 Carrion Crow and 6 Starling. (D Chaney)

Gorangorras, Penryn River: 6 Little Egret, 7 Mute Swan, 3 Little Grebe, c40 Curlew, c40 Redshank, 9 Turnstone and 3 Greenshank at high tide. Also 10+ Redwing in the pony field. (D Chaney)

St Breock Downs: 1 Lapland Bunting and a Buzzard. (C Selway)

Truro, Boscawen Park  area: 35 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Greenshank, 300+ Dunlin, 32 Redshank, 70+ Curlew, 41 Oystercatcher, 38 Shelduck, 3 Little Egret, 7 Mute Swan and 4 Redwing on a rising tide. (J St Ledger)

St Allen: Waxwing in hedge north of the church briefly in the morning, also 1 Firecrest. (T Mills)

Nanquidno: Red-breasted Flycatcher around the parking area.

Carbis Bay: 2 Balearic Shearwaters off River Hayle mouth.

Rame Head: Black Redstart at 13:00.
