Late News 30/12/12 Coverack: 6 Black-throated Diver, including a party of 4 fishing collaboratively, 4 adult Mediterranean Gulls, including one with green plastic ring R16X on right leg and 30 Great Black-backed Gulls, including a first-winter with white plastic ring LAV6 on right leg. (D Wood)
The Med Gull R16X was ringed as a chick on 15/06/2009 at Oye Plage, Les Huttes d’Oye, Pas-de-Calais (50,59N 2,03E). It’s since been seen at Gillan Creek on 13/02/2010, back in Pas-de-Calais on 22/04/2011, at Coverack on 27/07/2012 and 27/09/2012 and at Men-Aver beach on 09/10/2012. (per M Grantham)
