Late News 13/01 Wadebridge: Collared Doves reported nest building at Guineaport. (W Delacour)

Late News 15/01 Devoran: Colour-ringed Black-tailed Godwit, with white over red on left leg, pale green over dark green on right leg. It was ringed in Brittany in 2001. Since then it’s been seen in England twice on Spring migration and once in July. All winter records until now have been in northern France. (A Pay)

Stithians Reservoir: 12 Coot, 3 Wigeon, 1 Cormorant, 1 1w drake Long-tailed Duck (off Carnmenellis bank), 7 Goldeneye (1 m), 34 Canada Geese, 3 Great Tit and 1 Stonechat from the Stuart hutchings hide. 2 Gadwall, 2 Shoveler, 6 Coot, 1 Starling, 3 Blue Tit, 10 Chaffinch, 1 Brambling and 5 House Sparrows in the southern cut off. St Ives Bay: 5 Balearic Shearwater, 2 Red-throated Diver, 8 Med Gull (all adult winter), 3 Lesser blacked backed Gull, 1 Common Gull, 3 Fulmar, 1 Eider (female), 1 Velvet Scoter, 18 Turnstone, 2 Purple Sandpiper, 1 Black Redstart (female) and 1 Chaffinch 0830-16:00. Portscatho: Long-tailed Duck, 4 Black-throated Divers and 3 Slavonian Grebes.

Carrick Roads: 15 Black-necked Grebes.
