Late News 19/01 Hell’s Mouth: 88 Fulmar, 10+ Gannet, 5 Cormorant, 18 Shag, 96 Herring Gull, 3 Great Black-backed Gull, 1 Magpie, 75 Jackdaw, 2 Raven, 2 Wren, 1 Robin, 1 Stonechat and 1 Rock Pipit. (S Taylor)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Mute Swan (including 4 juv), 11 Mallard, 29 Teal, 3 Little Grebe, 2 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 3+ Bittern, 5 Grey Heron, 2 Water Rail, 18 Moorhen, 1 Coot, c25 Snipe, 3 Oystercatcher, 2 Dunlin, 1 Stonechat, 6 Long-tailed Tit and 1 Chiffchaff. Hayle Estuary RSPB: Summer plumaged Common Tern at the east end of Carnsew Basin, plus 4 Goosanders (brownheads), 11 Grey Plover, 20+ Ringed Plover and 5 Bar-tailed Godwit. (D Eva & K Hambly- Staite)

Bude Marshes: 4 Pink-footed Geese, 1 White-fronted Goose, 1 Barnacle Goose, 1 Little Egret, 40 Curlew, 150+ Canada Geese, 1 Mistle Thrush and 1 Water Rail at Petherick Mill. (R Mudge)

Men-an-Tol: 1 male Hen Harrier, 3 Short-eared Owls, c80 Fieldfare and 1 Woodcock late afternnon. (D Parker & J Swann)

United Downs, Wheal Maid: 2 Firecrest, 1 Raven, 4 Goldcrest, 3 Buzzard, 1 Kestrel, 8 Fieldfare, 2 Blue Tit and 1 Dunnock. (W Chegwidden)

Helston, Loe Pool: 60+ PochardĀ  (in 2 flocks), 1 Great crested Grebe and 1 Raven flew over. (D Jenkins)

Helston sewage works: 1 Siberian Chiffchaff and 2+ Firecrests. 13 Chiffchaff ringed in the morning, including at least 1 Siberian Chiffchaff. Probably 20+ Chiffchaff on site including 2-3 Siberian Chiffchaff.(D Eva, S Bury, M Grantham, F Hull & B Dodd)

Carnon Downs: 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 40+ Chiffchaff, 2 Goldcrest, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Reed Bunting at the sewage works. (G Adams)

Marazion: A large raft of Cormorants and Shags fishing and all three Divers and a Slavonian Grebe were also present east of St Michaels Mount. (S Cox)

Falmouth: 3 Slavonian Grebe, 1 Great Northern Diver, 1 2w Med Gull, 2 Whimbrel, 3 Razorbill and 2 Guillemot, between Pendennis Point & Castle Beach. (J St Ledger)

Stithians Reservoir: 2 Wigeon, 2 Gadwall, 3 Teal, 4 Mallard, 2 Shoveler, 1 Buzzard, 1 Water Rail, 1 Moorhen, 12 Coot, 15 Lapwing, 1 Black-headed Gull, 2 Wood Pigeon, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Magpie, 2 Jay, 1 Raven, 4 Blue Tit, 3 Great Tit, 4 Long-tailed Tit, 2 Siberian Chiffchaff, 1 Chiffchaff, 4 Starling, 4 Blackbird, 3 Robin, 4 Dunnock, 3 House Sparrow, 30 Chaffinch, 2 Greenfinch, 15 Goldfinch and 5 Reed Bunting. St Ives Bay: 1 Balearic Shearwater, 3 Red-throated Divers, 1 Fulmar, 1 Eider, 100’s Razorbills and 1 Mediterranean Gull from 09:00-16:00. Also 5 Bottlenose Dolphins from 11:50-12:45 and 6 Bottlenose Dolphins from 13:00-14:30. (S Butler-Crowdy, D Murphy & T Donohue)

Gorrangorras, Penryn River: 1 Kingfisher, 7 Little Egret, 2 Little Grebe, 1 Oystercatcher and 2 Greenshank at high tide, plus 100+ Redwing in the pony field and a flock of 25+ Stock Dove in the area. (D Chaney)

St Just: Western Subalpine Warbler still in gardens around Princess Street TR19 7JG. Please respect the residents privacy.

Kenidjack: 1 Siberian Chiffchaff at the sewerage works.

Carrick Roads: 19 Black-necked Grebes off Restronguet weir.

Maenporth: 2 Velvet Scoters (1 male) off the eastern coast path but distant.

Connor Downs: Turtle Dove still in a private garden.

Saltash: 3 Spoonbills off Churchtown Farm.

Trevose Head: 10 Lapland Buntings in stubble fields by the white house. Please keep to public rights of way.

Siblyback Lake: Female Ring-necked Duck on the NE side.

Loveny Reserve, Colliford Lake: Ad drake Lesser Scaup still.
