Late News 17/02 Stithians Reservoir: Long-tailed Duck, 14+ Goldeneye, 9 Shoveler, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 3 Pochard, 5 Wigeon, 20 Canada Geese, 3 Little Grebe and 20+ Tufted Duck N of Southern Causeway, also 1 f Brambling, 3 Greenfinch, 8 Goldfinch, 50+ Chaffinch, 6+ Reed Bunting, 5 House Sparrow, 2 Gadwall, 3 Wigeon, 8 Teal, 6 Tufted Duck and Sparrowhawk in the southern cut off and feeding station. St John’s: Drake Green-winged Teal still from St John’s ford.

Treen Common: 3 Lapland Buntings and 7 Snow Buntings but mobile and elusive at cSW446364.

Stithians Reservoir: Drake Long-tailed Duck still north of the southern causeway.

Mousehole: 1w Glaucous Gull again on St Clement’s Isle in the evening.

St Gothian Sands LNR: 1 Water Pipit.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Water Pipit on the saltmarsh by Black Road, Copperhouse.

Porthpean: 1 Velvet Scoter still.
