Stithians Reservoir: 1 Long-tailed Duck, 12 Goldeneye, 3 Great Crested Grebe, 2 Little Grebe, 6 Shoveler, 2 Pochard, 1 ad Med Gull, 1 Snipe, 1 Little Egret, 120 Lapwing on the main reservoir. 3 Brambling, 60 Chaffinch, 4 Greenfinch, 6 Reed Bunting, 10+ Goldfinch, several Blue Tits and Great Tits, 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker, 1 Water Rail. Rosenannon Downs: Single flock of 45 Lapland Buntings, extremely elusive only possible to see when they move (in flight) impossible to see on the ground in the long grass, plus 1 Short-eared Owl and 70+ Reed Bunting. Female Hawfinch next to the road, then flew SW back along the edge of the Beech wood near the top of the small hill next to Rosennanon Downs, on the road leading back to Wadebridge, in the morning.
