Late News 12/03 Gerrans Bay: 2 Red-necked Grebe, 3 Slavonian Grebe, 8 Black-throated Diver and 4 Great Northern Diver.

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 5 Mute Swan (including 1 immature), 2 Greylag, 4 Canada geese, 2 hybrid geese, 5 Mallard, 24 Teal, 1 Cormorant, 2+ Little Egret, 10+ Grey Heron, 3 Little Grebe, 2+ Water Rail, 18 Moorhen, 3 Buzzard, 1 Sparrowhawk, c15 Snipe, 3 Oystercatcher, 1 Lapwing, 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Dunlin, 2 Stonechat, 5 Chiffchaff and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. Falmouth: Female Black Redstart on Gyllyngvase Beach, 2 Whimbrel at Castle Beach, later flew around to the east side of Pendennis, and 3 Great Northern Divers from Pendennis, 2 in Falmouth Bay and 1 in the Carrick Roads. (D Chaney)

College Reservoir: Female Goldeneye, Grey Wagtail and a Great Crested Grebe. (D Chaney)

Gorrangorras: 3 Greenshank, 3 Snipe, 1 Grey Plover, 25+ Redshank, 20 Curlew, Water Rail, Kingfisher, 41 Teal and Moorhen with 5 Little Grebe further along towards Falmouth. (D Chaney)

Walmsley Sanctuary (members only): Adult Spoonbill still. (A Langdon)

Clapper Marshes: 1 Green Sandpiper. (D Julian)

Treen Common: 17 Lapland Buntings and 1 Snow Bunting but mobile and elusive at cSW446364.

Bude: Black Redstart on the cliff by the storm tower.

Bude Marshes: 3 Swallows on the marshes.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Water Pipit on the saltmarsh east of the Black Road.

Rosenannon Downs: 35+ Lapland buntings still.
