Late News 27/04 St Gothian Sands LNR: 6 Shelduck, 3 Dunlin, 14 Whimbrel, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 White Wagtail and 10 Wheatear also 5 Whimbrel south over Gwithian Beach. (M Spicer)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 6 Mute Swan (including 1 immature), 2 Greylag, 6 Canada Geese, 2 Gadwall, 9 Mallard (plus broods of 5+, 5 & 2), 1 Cormorant, 1 Little Egret, 10 Grey Heron, 15 Moorhen, 2 Common Buzzard, 2 Sparrowhawk, 1 female Marsh Harrier at 08:30 and 16:35 (presumed same as last weeks bird on wing moult), 3 Whimbrel, 1 Common Sandpiper, c50 Swallow, c20 Sand Martin, 7+ Swift, c10 White Wagtail, 2 Wheatear, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Blackcap, 4+ Cetti’s Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff, Willow Warblers, Reed Warblers and Sedge Warblers. Marazion: 52 Dunlin, 30 Ringed Plover, 100+ Whimbrel, 11 Turnstone, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Sanderling, 2 Common Sandpiper and c20 White Wagtail on the beach plus 1 Eider 2 Scoter, 5 Great Northern Diver,  1 Red-throated Diver and 2 Sandwich Tern offshore. (D Parker & B Mellow)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: Osprey caught a fish at 06:15 but then flew south, also a Pink-footed Goose briefly with Greylags. (B Mellow)

Falmouth: White Wagtail on Gyllyngvase beach, Whimbrel on the seawall near Gyllyngvase beach, with another near Castle Beach along with a Wheatear and a Swift also a recently fledged Dunnock by the path down to the beach. 17 Great Northern Divers (5 in sum plum) and 2 Sandwich Terns out in Falmouth Bay plus 2 Wheatear near Pendennis Point, and a male Sparrowhawk.
