Late news yesterday, Stithians Reservoir: 9 Common Sandpiper, 3 Curlew, 6 Little Grebe, 2 Great Crested Grebe + 1 juv, 1 Kestrel, 30+ Swallow. Also numbers of Willow Warbler, Sedge Warbler, Whitethroat, and Chiffchaff. (J St Ledger photo)


Late news yesterday, Pentire Point: 40 Common Scoter passed SW plus 1 Wheatear and 1 Hobby at Pentire Farm (D Williams)

Ringing records at Marazion Marsh RSPB today: 21 Sedge Warbler, 15 Reed Warbler, 1 Chiffchaff, 3 Blackbirds, I Reed Bunting (all new) and a retrap Cetti’s Warbler. Also 3 Clouded Yellow butterflies. (D Flumm)

Ringing records at The Lizard last night: 22 Storm Petrel including one French-ringed bird controlled. (M Grantham)

Sancreed Beacon: 1 Grey Heron and 3 Swift over plus Green Woodpecker and recently fledged Cuckoo being fed by Meadow pipit foster parents. (D Flumm)
