Late news 30/4 Penzance: 1m Eider and 1f Red-breasted Merganser off Chyandour. 17 Whimbrel over Eastern Green at 1645hrs and a small number of Sandwich Terns feeding around St Michael’s Mount. Late afternoon into early evening two Great Northern Divers off Eastern Green including one in almost full summer plumage. (D King)

Gannel Estuary: 8 Whimbrel,1 Black-tailed Godwit,1 Grey Plover and 1 Dunlin. (M Lammas) 20 Whimbrel this evening. (S Rowe)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Goose with 3 goslings, 2 Greylag with 7 goslings, 2 hybrid geese, 6 Mallard plus 4 ducklings, 2 Little Egret, 13 Grey Heron, 7 Moorhen, 1 Redshank, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 2 Whimbrel, 2 Swallow, 9 Sand Martin, 1 Raven (eating what looked like a dead auk), 2 Reed Bunting, 4 Cetti’s Warbler, Sedge Warbler and Reed Warbler. (DK Parker)

Marazion: 3 Turnstone, 2 Whimbrel, 4 Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 White Wagtail and 1 Pied Wagtail on the beach and 5 Sandwich Terns offshore. (DK Parker) Also 1 Great Northern Diver offshore.

Wadebrige: 1 Osprey over.

Gillan Creek: 1 Glossy Ibis still.
