Ringing report, Gunwalloe CES (16th May): ringed 16 birds, mostly Reed and Sedge Warbler.  Nanjizal CES (16th May): netted 87 birds including a couple of Grasshopper Warblers, a Spotted Flycatcher and a young male Common Rosefinch. Mullion Island (17th May): Cormorant colony of 51 nests with 70+ young, 18 of which were colour-ringed as part of monitoring on the island. Red Moor (CBWPS Field Meeting): 1 Red Kite, 1 Tree Pipit, 2 m Yellowhammer, 5 Whitethroat, 1 Garden Warbler, 3  Marsh Tit, 20 Long-tailed Tit, 2 Coal Tit, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker and numerous Willow Warbler, Chiffchaff and Blackcap, plus 22 other common species. (P McVey)
