Late news, 16/7, Carn Boel: 1 Fulmar with chick in nest. (P & H Taylor)

Late news, 16/7, Pendennis Head: Manx Shearwaters started at a rate of c.5/minute but picked up quickly as the evening wore on until a couple hundred were milling around offshore. At least half a dozen Mediterranean Gull of various ages and c58 Common Scoter flew through westwards. (S Perfect)

Hayle Estuary RSPB, Ryan’s Field: 22 Mediterranean Gull (inc: 5 juv), 2 Black-tailed Godwit,  2 Whimbrel, 2 Greenshank (inc. 1 on estuary) and 4 s/p Dunlin on estuary. (J Hawkey)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Mute Swan with 5 cygnets, 7 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 15 Grey Heron, 2 Little Egret, 2 Moorhen with 5 chicks, 1 Sparrowhawk, 1 Kestrel, c10 Swift, 6 Swallow, 3 Sand Martin, 1 male Stonechat with 4 young, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Cetti’s Warbler, plus Reed and Sedge Warblers (both feeding young).
