Late news, 18/7, Scillonian RSPB Cruise,  Between Penzance and Wolf Lighthouse: 4 Common Scoter,  2 Barrel Jellyfish and 1 Sunfish. Return, Wolf to Penzance: 3 Harbour Porpoise 3 and a dark phase Arctic Skua was chasing the only Kittiwake of the trip across Mounts Bay. Both directions produced a total of 85 Manx Shearwater. Argal Reservoir: Mute Swan plus 2 cygnets, Great Crested Grebes, broods of 2 and 3 and 1 Green Woodpecker. (D Eva)

Truro: 1 juv Goldcrest in my garden (the first juv I’ve ever seen here). (Derek Jenkins)

St Gothian Sands LNR: 2 Coot, 1 Redshank and 1 Grey Wagtail. (MJ Spicer)

Marazion Beach: 25 Dunlin; 1 Sandering  and 2 Ringed Plover. (J Hawkey)

Penhale Army Camp: 1 juv Cuckoo, 2 juv Little Grebe near nest containing unhatched egg, 3 Buzzard, 3 juv Stonechat, 1 Skylark and 1 juv Whitethroat. Butterflies included lots of Dk Green Fritilliaries and Brown Argos. (J Hawkey)

Sennen: 1 Basking Shark reported in the tideway between the Longships and The Brisons this morning. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Marazion Marsh RSPB:  4 Mute Swan with 5 cygnets, 7 Mallard, 8 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 2 ad Moorhen with 3 young, plus Reed and Sedge Warblers. (DK Parker)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 5 Mediterranean Gull (2 ad 1 1s/2w and 2 juv), 2 Little Egret and 7 Curlew on Copperhouse Creek. (DK Parker)
