Late News, 11/08, Nanquidno: 2 juvenile Hooded x Carrion Crow (both showing obvious Hooded characteristics, one somewhat more then the other) at Nanjulian, in fields north of the farm with Carrion Crow, viewed from the end of the public road. (J Clarke)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 4 Mute Swan with 5 cygnets, 9 Mallard, 1 Cormorant, 26 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 1 Little Grebe, 5 Grey Heron, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Stonechat, 1 Cetti’s Warbler plus Reed and Sedge Warblers. Also 1 Clouded Yellow butterfly. (DK Parker & R Menari)

Porthgwarra: 5 Balearic Shearwater and 1 Black Tailed Godwit between 07:30 & 09.00. (H Bradshaw) ! Cory’s Shearwater and 2 Sooty Shearwaters also reported and the Hooded Crow again at Roskestal Farm.
Kingsmill Lake: 70+ Curlew, 2+ Whimbrel, 11 Dunlin, 27+ Greenshank, 2 Redshank, 13 Canada Geese, 2 Cormorant,11 Little Egret, 2 Grey Heron, 3+ Med Gull, 30+ Black-headed Gull, 2 Herring Gull, 1 Lesser Black-backed Gull, 1 Coal Tit, 2 Bullfinch, 1 Jay and 1 Swallow at high tide. (C Ellis)
