Late news, 7/10, Perranporth: 1 dead juv Peregrine on beach. (E Dunn)

Newlyn, river mouth: 2 Grey Wagtail, 10 Black-headed Gull and 5 Mute Swan (family group, 2 ad + 3 juv). Harbour: 57 Great Black-backed Gull, 17 Turnstone, 2 Cormorant and 2 Shag. Sandy Cove: 1 Firecrest, 5 Goldfinch and 1 Clouded Yellow butterfly. 1 Peregrine over town. (T Mills)

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Porth Kidney:  2 Pomarine Skua, 5 Sandwich Tern, 3 ‘commic’ tern, 13 Ringed Plover, 2 Stonechat, 2 Raven and 1 Kestrel. Carnsew Pool: 40 Mediterranean Gull, 1 Common Tern, 35 Dunlin, 4 Grey Plover and 2 Little Egret. Cape Cornwall: 19 Balearic Shearwater, 3 Great Skua and 1 Arctic Skua.

Lamorna: 8 Balearic Shearwater past Tater-du.

Sennen Cove: 2 Pom Skua and 2 Arctic Tern in the afternoon.

Mousehole: 76 Balearic Shearwater between 09:30 & 10:30.

Longrock: 1 Monarch butterfly reported on beach.
