Porthgwarra: 1 Subalpine Warbler still, plus 1 Merlin, 2 Chough, 2 Raven, 1 Hooded Crow, 1 Jay, 2 Great-spotted Woodpecker, 30+ Golden Plover, 2 Kestrel, 2 Sparrowhawk, 2 Buzzard, 5 Blackcap, 3 Chiffchaff,10+ Stonechat, 2 Wheatear and at least 10 Clouded Yellow. Hayle Estuary RSPB: 15 Little Egret, 7 Grey Heron, 6 adult Whooper Swan, 2 Turnstone, 4 Dunlin and 2 Rock Pipit on Lelant Saltings. 2 Little Egret, 24 Med Gull, 6 Lapwing, 75 Dunlin, 50 Curlew, 2 Black-tailed & 6 Bar-tailed Godwit, 1 Greenshank, 8 Redshank, 1 Kingfisher, 2 Rock Pipit and 1 Jay on Ryan’s Field. 1 Little Egret, 1 Grey Heron and 2 Little Grebe on Carnsew Pool. Pendeen: steady passage of birds north this morning with several hundred Chaffinches, a few dozen Skylarks, 1 Brambling, 1 Lapland Bunting all overhead. Also 10+ Pied Wagtail, 4 Reed Bunting, 1 Grey Wagtail, 30+ Linnet, 10+ Goldfinch, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Snipe, 2 Buzzard, 1 Chough, 4 Stonechat, 3 Raven, 20+ Meadow Pipits, 1 Merlin, 2 Clouded Yellow and 1 Vapourer Moth.
