Late news, 29/10 + 30/10, Kilkhampton: 6-7000 Starling, pre-roost was on telegraph wires on the northern edge of Kilkhampton and roost in the woods east of the solar farm 4 miles north of the village. (D Girvan)

Sancreed: 3 Snipe, 30 Redwing, 10 Skylark, 150 Chaffinch, 3 Grey Wagtail, 1 Black Redstart and 1 Goldcrest. (D Flumm)

Newquay, Gannel Estuary:  9 dark-bellied Brent Geese still, also 2 adult Mediterranean Gull and 2 Grey Plover. (M Lammas)

Kenidjack:1 Brambling feeding in field with Chaffinches opposite sewage works; also 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Goldcrest, 3 Chough, 180 Stock Doves in 3 small flocks. Plus Hummingbird Hawkmoth, 1 Clouded Yellow & Painted Lady butterflies. 1 Yellow-browed Warbler (heard only) above the sewerage works. (J Hawkey & P Clarke)

Scillonian RSPB Wildlife Cruise: 1 Great Skua, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 2 Manx Shearwater,14 Kittiwake, 77 Gannets, 30 Guillemot, 6 Auk ?species, 108 GBB Gulls, 5 LBB Gulls, 3 Shag between Penzance and Wolf Lighthouse. 1 Balearic Shearwater, 35 Gannets, 6 Auks, 1 Great Skua, 5 GBB Gull and 1 Minke Whale between Wolf Lighthouse and Penzance. Davidstow Airfield: 1 American Golden Plover still.

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Copperhouse Creek: 1 Lesser Yellowlegs again.

Wacker Quay: 1 Spoonbill again.

Porthcurno: 4 Sooty Shearwater and 1 Great Skua.
