Late news, 1/12, Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, estuary:  1 Brent Goose (dark-bellied). 5 Goosander (red-heads). 4 Black-tailed Godwit. 1Knot. 7 Mediterranean Gull ( 4xad, 1x2w, 2x1w). Ryan’s Field: c400 Golden Plover & c350 Lapwing. (C Barnard)

Marazion: 1 Pacific Diver near Little Hogus and 1 Great Northern Diver. (C Barnard, M Greenhalgh, P Clement, MJ Spicer)

Falmouth, Swanpool: 2 1w Scaup, 1 1w Long-tailed Duck, c.15 Tufted Duck, 10 Little Grebe, 1 Great-crested Grebe, 5 Mute Swan, 100 Black-headed Gull, 30 Herring Gull, 60+ Mallard, 50+ Coot, 1 Grey Heron, 5+ Moorhen, 2 Kingfisher and 1 Grey Wagtail. (D Chaney, B Toms & J St Ledger) Also on Swanpool was the contraption shown in the photo, it was the size of a pallet, and was going around the pool, scaring off the birds! Not sure if it was manned or remote controlled!
