Newlyn, harbour: 8 Turnstone (4 moulting adults and 4 juv, 1 adult colour-ringed). Newlyn River mouth: 11+ Turnstone, 1 Dunlin, 10 Shag and 2 Mute Swan. Sandy Cove: 1 Clouded Yellow, 1 Painted Lady and 1 Large Skipper butterflies, also several Long-winged Cone-head bush crickets. (T Mills)

Pendeen 13.5hours (06:30-20:00): 8 Balearic, 3434 Manx, 111 Fulmar, 1 Blue Fulmar, 11 Common Scoter, 1 Curlew, 25 Whimbrel, 1 Redshank, 1 Greenshank, 1 Turnstone, 6 Mediterranean Gull, 2 Arctic Skua and 5 Great Skua. Also pods of 1, 2, 3 & 4 Harbour Porpoise, 1 Common Dolphin, 1 Ocean Sunfish and 1 Tuna sp. (D Flumm)
The Lizard, Bass Point, (6.30 – 9.00 am): 181 Manx Shearwater, 2 Sooty Shearwater, 1 imm Kestrel, 1 Chough, 1 Swift. Plus 10 Harbour Porpoise, 8 Common Dolphins and 1 Ocean Sunfish.
