Late news 26/8 Portscatho: 85 Med gulls (including up to 5 colour-ringed) at Towan Beach. (S Croft)

Porth Kidney Sands: 1 Oystercatcher, 3 Ringed Plover, 1 Knot, 16 Sanderling, 42 Dunlin, 47 Sandwich Tern and 8 Med Gull. (MJ Spicer)

Stithians Reservoir: 1 Ruff, 7 Common Sandpiper, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 1 Whimbrel, 2 Buzzard, 2 Great Crested Grebe, 5 Little Grebe, 17 Teal, 1 Great-spotted Woodpecker plus 1 Pied Flycatcher at Golden Lion. (D Eva, B Toms)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: c30 Oystercatcher, c105 Curlew, 2 Common Sandpiper and 2 Little Egret on Ryan’s Field. (D Chadwick)

Kynance Cove: Juv Woodchat, 2 Pied Flycatcher, 1 Swift south and 4 Whinchat between there and Jolly Town. A couple of flocks of waders flew over high up, heading towards Lizard village, 40 birds in total, apparently most, if not all, were Ruff. (J Foster)

Porthgwarra: 1 Pomarine Skua past by 07:30.
