Chyandour, Penzance: 1 Short-eared Owl in off the sea around 14:30hrs. (DS Flumm)

Land’s End: 1 juv Rose-coloured Starling and 1 Corncrake, plus 6 Stonechat, 1 Raven, 8 Curlew 1 possible Lapland Bunting. (A Hartley – more here, P & H Taylor) Also still 1 Yellow-browed Warbler.

Windmill Farm: 1f Merlin, 1f Marsh Harrier and ‘large numbers’ of Golden Plover and Swallow. (S Russ)

Rame: 4 Firecrest seen today in lane near the church and 1 Wheatear along Military Road. (M Beer)

Nanjizal: 101 birds ringed. 19 Goldcrest, 3 Firecrest, Yellow-browed Warbler, 17 Chiffchaff and 36 Blackcap and best year for Cetti’s Warbler. (KA Wilson)

Cot Valley: 3 Yellow-browed Warbler, also 1 Firecrest, 15 Goldcrest, 10 Chiffchaff, 4 Blackcap, 2 Redwing, and overhead, 15+ Siskin and 6 Crossbill. (D Chown, N Grace et al.)

Camelford: 500+ Redwings over at 18:00. (A Bond)

Padstow: 1 Firecrest on Camel Trail.

Sennen Cove: 2 Spoonbill flew north.

Pendeen Watch: 9 Chough, 2 Raven, 1 Sparrowhawk,  2 Kestrel, 3 Pied Wagtail, 30 Meadow Pipits, 1 Water Rail, 4 Goldcrest, 1 Blackcap, 1 Chiffchaff and 1 Wheatear. (A Hartley – more here, I Kendall) Also Pallas’s Warbler reported still present in gorse by track from Enys at 18:20.

Pendeen: 1 heard-only Yellow-browed Warbler in Calartha Farm copse (only called once), 4 Goldcrests in Pendeen Stores copse and 3 Goldcrest in Pendeen churchyard. (A Hartley)
