Sancreed: 1 ringtail Hen Harrier, 1 Black Redstart, 1 Firecrest, 3 Chiffchaff, 30 Fieldfare, 10 Redwing. (D Flumm)

Porthgwarra: 1 Firecrest at toilet block,1 Black Redstart at Roskestal Farm and 2 Chough. (D Flumm) Also 2 Long-eared Owls by Halfway Wall and 13 Short-eared Owls on the Moor.

Windmill Farm: 1 f Marsh Harrier, 3 Reed Bunting, 28 Lapwing, 200+ Golden Plover, 1 Chiffchaff, numerous Goldcrest, 15 Skylark, 8 Stonechat and 1 Water Rail. (D Wright)

Lamorna: 4 Firecrests, 1 Continental Coal Tit, 1 Willow Warbler, c10 Chiffchaff and lots of goldcrests (we saw 100+ in several big “flocks”). (M Silk + G Swan)

St Loy: 3 Firecrest, 1 Brambling over, 2 Chiffchaff (one calling unusually) and 1 Kingfisher. (M Silk + G Swan)

Nanquidno: 11 Woodlark in the weedy fields previously containing Vipers bluegloss behind last house. (R Augarde) Serin reported again.

Carminowe valley: 1 Brambling and 1 Firecrest. (I Maclean)

Land’s End: 1 Wheatear and 2 flocks of c40 Linnet each along coast path. (T Mills) Also 2 Firecrest reported.

St Ives: 1 Black Redstart at Porthmeor Beach Cafe. (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, Ryan’s Field: 2 Spoonbill, 3 Golden Plover, 65 Lapwing, 300 Starling, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 4 Greenshank, 6 Redshank, 1 Firecrest, 2 Mediterranean Gull. Estuary: 1 2w Ring-billed Gull.  (Sennen Cove Birdwatching)

Porthcurno: 2 Yellow-browed Warbler and 1 Firecrest still by footpath from car park to beach near toilet block.

Sennen Cove: 1 Black Redstart and 1 1cy Yellow-legged Gull. (D Balmer) Also Siberian Chiffchaff in the quarry by the school.

Wadebridge, Tregunna: 1 Cattle Egret still below the field with the polytunnel beyond the hide mid-morning; also 1 Spotted Redshank.

St Levan: 1 Snow Bunting along coast path west of church, also 1 Merlin. (D Balmer)

Nanjizal: 132 ringed today, 44 Goldcrest, 5 Firecrest, 6 Chiffchaff, 21 Blackcap, 14 Redwing and 13 Blackbird. (K Wilson)

Feock: 20,000+ Starlings over this morning. (VM Smith)

Marazion Marsh RSPB Reserve: 4 Mute Swan, 12 Teal, 3 Wigeon, 9 Mallard, 6 Little Grebe, 3 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret, 1 Cormorant, 25 Moorhen, 1 Water Rail, 3 Snipe, 1 Kingfisher, 20,000+ Starling, 2 Stonechat and 1 Cetti’s Warbler. (DK Parker)

Kenidjack: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler.

Bude: 1 Short-eared Owl on  m.o.d. land at Cleave Camp at 16.00 plus 2 Black Redstart still in area around Cleave Crescent; 1 Barn oQwl  also been on m.o.d land last four days, small groups of redwing, continental  blackbird and fieldfare  moving around Combe Valley area. (N-J Bastin)
