Late news, 25/11, Boscawen Park, Truro: 20 Black-tailed Godwit including one colour-ringed bird. This bird was ringed as an adult male in Iceland in July 2010. Each year since it has bred in Iceland and over wintered in the Truro/Devoran area, travelling to Cornwall via the Wash in East Anglia. St Gothian Sands LNR:Jack Snipe (flushed by dogwalkers and flew towards water treatment works), 2 Comon Snipe, 24 Tufted Duck, 22 Canada Geese, 13 Mallard, 11 Black-headed Gull, 1 ad and 1 1w Mediterranean Gull, 3 Water Rail, 4 Moorhen, 2f Shoveler, 2 Little Grebe, 3 Magpie, 2 Buzzard, 1 Goldcrest, 4+ Dunnock, 6 Blackbird, 9 Fieldfare, 16+ Meadow pipit, 12 Redwing, 500+ Woodpigeon, 6 Curlew, 77 Oystercatchers, 5 Linnet, 2 Raven, 2 Stonechat, 6 Teal, 30+ Jackdaw, 10+ Carrion Crow, 6 Great Black-backed Gull, 70+ Herring Gull, 1 Robin, 1 Kestrel, 1 Rock Pipit, 1 Coot, 4 Mute Swan, 3+ Reed Bunting. At sea good numbers of Kittiwake estimated passing at 30 per minute. Also 9 Med Gulls past Godrevy car park in 20 minutes. (P Freestone)
