Hayle Estuary RSPB Reserve, estuary: 1 Greenshank, 12 Mediterranean Gull, 11 Wigeon, 7 Curlew and 7 Sandwich Tern. Ryan’s Field: 1 Common Sandpiper, 1 Dunlin, 5 Little Egret and 1 Curlew. Carnsew Basin: 1 Greenshank. Copperhouse Creek: 1 Spoonbill and 4 Little Egret. (M Spicer, T Mills) Also 1 2w Ring-billed Gull.

Marazion Marsh RSPB Reserve: 5 Mute Swan, 4 Canada Geese, 1 Greylag, 19 Teal, 9 Mallard (plus broods of 10 & 12 ducklings), 1 Cormorant, 2 Little Grebe, 2 Little Egret, 9 Grey Heron, 18 Moorhen, 1 Snipe, 2 Reed Bunting, 2 Stonechat, 15+ Chiffchaff, 4+ Willow Warbler, 1 Blackcap and 6 Cetti’s Warbler. Also 3 Roe Deer in the field behind Longrock Pool. (DK Parker)

Perranuthnoe, Boat Cove: 1 Hudsonian Whimbrel again, 1 Whimbrel and 2 Black-throated Diver. (B Hibberd)

Sancreed: 1 Merlin and 1 Hoopoe. The latter at Grumbla, c50m west of “Grumbla Cottage” in a churned up horse paddock annex and south of the road. Later in grass field north of road. Still present 18:30hrs. (D Flumm)

St Just: 1 juv Iceland Gull.

Boswednack: 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler and 2 Swallow.

Newmill Valley: 8 singing Chiffchaff and 1 Willow Warbler.

Treen Common, Gurnards Head: 1 ringtail Hen Harrier.

St Ives: 10 Fulmar, 40 Sandwich Tern and 66 Manx Shearwater from the NCI Lookout. St Ives, Man’s Head: 1 Great Northern Diver, 30 Shag (mostly juv), c100 Sandwich Tern (west), c50 Gannets. (R Veal)

Windmill Farm: 1 Woodchat Shrike seen again.

Stithians Reservoir: 1 Slavonian Grebe still.

Trevean: 1 Firecrest. (M Wallace)

Bude: 15+ Swallow, 3 Cormorant, 2 Oystercatcher, 6 Skylark, 1 Raven and 2 Lesser Black-backed Gull (H Wilkins)
