Late news, St Ives area, 18th April, Buttermilk Hill: 20+ Meadow Pipit (feeding in the Pool Field most breed on the moors), 2 (m+f) Ring Ouzel. St. Ives NCI: 18 Sandwich Tern, 12 Turnstone, 6 Manx Shearwater, 400 to 500 Swallow moving through all day and 16 Sand Martin. 19th April, Anjue Green Cottage: 5 Wheatear. Buttermilk Hill (morning): 3 Ring Ouzel, 12 Wheatear in Pool field, 1 m Black Redstart and 2 Cuckoo, one on Rosewall Hill, the other on the croft on the South Side. Buttermilk Hill evening: 8 Ring Ouzel,14 Wheatear on North side of the Hill, 19 Wheatears on the South Croft side of the Hill and 1 Swift. Anjue Green Cottage: 14 Wheatear in the field below the cottage, 5 Common Buzzard, 4 Raven and a total of 47 Wheatear here today. 20th April, Buttermilk Hill: 3 Ring Ouzel, 14 Wheatear in Pool Field  and 1 Swift. 21st April, Buttermilk Hill: 44 Wheatear in the Pool Field and 8 around the rest of the moorlands (52 Wheatear in total), 1 Whinchat and 20 Meadow Pipit. St. Ives N.C.I: 21 Sandwich Tern, 100+ Swallow, 15 House Martin and 2 Sand Martin. (V Stratton)

Marazion Beach: 2 Kentish Plover (m&f) @ 1630hrs amongst flock of 11 Turnstone, also 16 summer plumaged Dunlin & 4 Sanderling. (J Hawkey) Also 2 Common Scoter (m & f), 4+ Great Northern Diver and flocks of 26, 19 & 14 Whimbrel offshore. (DK Parker, S Williams, S Rogers)

Scillonian Crossing, Penzance – Wolf Rock:  1 Great Northern Diver, 25 Gannet, 4 Cormorant, 2 Shag,  36 Manx Shearwater, 10 Fulmar, 20 Guillemot, 5 Razorbill, 3 Kittiwake, 3 Arctic Tern and on board Scillonian (actually on passengers’ heads!) 1 Reed Warbler, 1 Common Redstart & 2 Willow Warbler. Sennen Cove: 1 Little Tern in the harbour this morning and 1 Little Egret to east of lifeboat station.

Porthgwarra: 1 Ring Ouzel and 1 m Pied Flycatcher. (MD Wallace)

Boswednack: 1 Cuckoo, 1 Blackcap, 2 Chiffchaff, 1 Willow Warbler and 2 Swallow.

Gurnard`s Head: 1 ringtail Hen Harrier on Treen Common.

Lelant: 2 Siskin at the station this morning.

Helston: 1 Whooper Swan again on the boating lake.

Perranuthnoe: 1 Hudsonian Whimbrel still at Boat Cove, also 1 Black-throated Diver and 1 Great Northern Diver in sum plum. (J Ryan)

Old Lizard Head: 7 Canada Geese, 10 House Martin, 6 Sand Martin, 50 Swallow, 9 Whimbrel, 60 Blackcap, 50 Chiffchaff, 120 Willow Warbler, 80 Whitethroat, 3 Lesser Whitethroat, 10 Sedge Warbler, 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Goldcrest, 3 Redstart, 9 Wheatear, 1 Ring Ouzel, 6 White Wagtail and 6 Skylark.
