Chyandour, Penzance: Drake Eider, 13 Whimbrel N., 15 Sandwich Tern in Bay, 30 Swift. (DS Flumm)

Kit Hill: 1 possibly 2 Cuckoos (calling and visuals), 3 Carrion Crow, 4 Dunnock, 1 Kestrel, 10+ Meadow Pipit, 12 Stonechat (8m 4f), 5 Willow Warbler, 3 Wren, 2 Chaffinch, 5 – 8 Blackbird. Also 1 Wall Butterfly near Tower. (M Spencer)

St Cleer: 14+ Swift over the Primary School this afternoon. (R. Frost)

Cot Valley: 1 singing male Lesser Whitethroat near donkey field at east end still. Flock of 8 Collared Doves north along coast. Strong passage of hirundines north along coast, mainly Swallows but including about 110 House Martins between 09:30 and 10:30 hours. Also three Red Kites over St Just at 16:30. (N Wheatley)

Marazion: 1 Red Kite drifted west at 12.15pm. Also 8 Whimbrel flew NE. (M McKee) Also Shelduck, 13 Whimbrel, 7 Dunlin, 2 Ringed Plover and 1 Common Sandpiper on the beach. (DK Parker)
