Marazion Marsh RSPB: 3 Mute Swan plus 2+ cygnets, 7 Mallard, 5 Teal, 6 Grey Heron, 5 Little Egret, 1 Little Grebe, 13 Moorhen, 1 Snipe, 1 Green Sandpiper, 2 Stonechat plus 1 young, 1 Reed Bunting, 1 Cetti’s Warbler, Reed and Sedge Warblers. (DK Parker)

Marazion: c250 Ringed Plover, c100 Dunlin, c60 Sanderling, 11 Turnstone and 3 Oystercatcher on the beach, still hounded by dog walkers, joggers, horses, wind surfers and holidaymakers. (DK Parker)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Green Sandpiper on Carnsew Pool (2 yesterday). (M Halliday) Also 11 Little Tern, 9 Sandwich Tern, 3 Arctic Tern, 2 Little Stint, 31 Ringed Plover and c70 Dunlin around Carnsew. Bude: 1 juvenile Fulmar, 3 Cormorant, 2 Kestrel, 7 Swallow, 5 Meadow Pipit, 1 Wheatear and 1 Oystercatcher (H Wilkins)

St Ives: 10 Mediterranean Gull (including 1 juv), 3 Sandwich Terns, 1 Wheatear and 1 Swift. (A Hartley)
