Late news 23/9, Fal/Truro River junction: The Osprey blue NY2 seen yesterday is a young bird ringed as a chick at a nest at Redcastle on the Beauly Firth on 1st July this year. Its BTO ring number is 1469498. NY2 was one of three chicks in the nest at the top of a huge Douglas Fir. (info per B Etheridge)

Gwithian: juv Rose-coloured Starling still between Churchtown campsite and Towan Chalets.
