Polgigga: 1 Siberian Chiffchaff, 1 Yellow-browed Warbler, 1 Willow Warbler, 1 Firecrest. (M Wallace) Probable 1w eastern Yellow Wagtail east of footpath between Bosistow and Higher Bosistow Farms in newly ploughed field in evening (SW366.235). Also 2 Short-toed Lark north of track to Faraway Cottage.

Plaidy, near Looe: 1 Firecrest, 2 Goldcrest, 1 Chiffchaff, 1 Rock Pipit, 1 Kestrel, 1 Grey Heron, 1 Little Egret. (D Spooner)

Marazion Marsh: A Little Egret caught a very mature roach and flew from the reeds to the front grass bank with the fish thrashing in its mouth. It wrestled and stabbed at the Roach for 15 mins but  was unable to swallow the now dead fish. RSPB Scillonian III Wildlife Cruise, Penzance Harbour: 1m Eider. Penzance – Wolf Rock: 1 Sooty Shearwater, c60 Harbour Porpoise, c20 Common Dolphin and 2 Blue-fin Tuna. Wolf Rock – Scilly: 1 Sooty Shearwater, 1 Manx Shearwater, 1 Balearic Shearwater, 3 Puffin, 1 poss Minke Whale, c10 Common Dolphin, c40 Harbour Porpoise and 2 Grey Seal. Scilly – Wolf Rock: 8 Puffin, 1 Minke Whale, 100+ Common Dolphin, c6 Risso’s Dolphin, 100+ Common Dolphin, 1 Grey Seal and c6 Blue-fin Tuna.
