Late news, Hayle Estuary RSPB: 12 pale-bellied Brent Geese. (P Combridge)

Sennen: 1 Isabelline Shrike, probable Turkestan (phoenicuroides) – 1w just south of Sennen north of B3315 1/3ml east of A30 junction in hedge opposite layby to Trevilley Farm late afternoon. (M Elliott & M Warren)

Bude: 2 Richard’s Pipit and 1 Merlin early this morning, plus good numbers of Linnet and Meadow Pipit at Cleave Camp. (H Kendall)

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Spoonbill still at RSPB Hayle estuary (behind Tempests) 1.15pm today. (A Hales)  Lelant Saltings: 1st winter Cattle Egret again from causeway until 5:15 pm when flew high S, presumably to roost at Marazion Marsh, 26 Golden Plover, 87 Lapwing. (R Veal) Also 2 Firecrest at Lelant and 2 Brent Goose off Quay House (S Turner) Carnsew Pool: 1 imm Spoonbill until 5:18 pm then also flew high S, 6 Grey Plover, 7 Little Grebe, 1 Black-tailed Godwit, 12 Bar-tailed Godwit. Marazion Marsh: 2 Cetti’s Warbler vocalizing at 11.15 (RB & PC Girling)

Penlee Battery: 1 Yellow-browed Warbler at 15.58 (D Allan)

Kenidjack: 1 Lesser Whitethroat still showing well in sallows of former donkey paddock in front of last house, 5 Blackcap, 5 Chiffchaff, 3 Goldcrest, 2 Great Spotted Woodpecker (J Hawkey)

Kynance Cove NT: 100+ Golden Plover flew in off the sea at 11.30 from Predannack Head and headed generally south east, 2 pairs of Dartford Warbler – 1 pair half way between Kynance Farm and Soap Rock; 1 pair 400 metres north of Kynance Cove, 1 male Merlin over Lower Predannack Downs, all between 11.00 and 14.00.
