Kestrel nestbox scheme

Kestrel nestbox scheme: West Cornwall Ringing Group is interested in starting a new nestbox scheme for Kestrels and are appealing for any sites that may be suitable for siting a box. Farm sites with birds present are of particular interest, as are ones with an existing box. The ringing group can provide boxes, but ask that permission to install one is granted by the land-owner, who would also need to be happy with follow-up visits for nest-recording and ringing. Anyone who knows of a suitable site can email cornishkestrels@gmail.com
