St Minver cricket club: 1 Red Kite flying south. (S Grose)

Polgigga: 1 Swift over. Also 1 Red Kite at 15:20. (M Walllace)

Porth Reservoir: 1 Common Sandpiper below the Dam wall at 12:30. (M Heacock)

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 drake Garganey, 9 Teal, 2 Cattle Egret, 3 Little Egret, 2 Greenshank, 2 Whimbrel, 1 Snipe and 1 Wheatear. (P St Pierre, DK Parker)

Porthgwarra: 26 Wheatear, 9 Willow Warbler, 1 White Wagtail, Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Whimbrel. (M Walllace)

Bodmin Moor: 1 m Common Redstart (heard), 1 Cuckoo, 6 Wheatear, 4 Swallow, Willow Warbler, 4 Meadow Pipit, 2 Pied Wagtail, 1 Mistle Thrush and 1 Great Spotted Woodpecker between Bradford and Carbilly Tor. (JH Hawkey, K Dalziel)

Tregonetha Downs: 3 Yellowhammer, 1 Bullfinch, 4 Chiffchaff, 1 Cuckoo and 3 Tawny Owl. (S Grose)

Respryn Bridge, Lanhydrock: 2 Dippers feeding and then resting together about 20 minutes walk upstream from the car park. Also 2 Siskin. (D Hall)

23rd April 2017

B3277 by Teagles: 1 Red Kite (B Tregunna)

Lizard: c20 Wheatear, 10 Whitethroat, 1 Wryneck.

Lizard Point (seawatch): 2 Avocet, 2 Little Stint, 2 Whimbrel, 7 Puffin.

Caerthillean: 1 Wryneck, 1 Ring Ouzel.  Female Red-footed Falcon briefly on wires west of Lizard village feeding in the freshly cut field at 06:40.

Crousa Downs: Purple Heron came in to roost at 20:58. (M Pass)

Land’s End: 1m Subalpine Warbler (probably Western) opposite Swingates

Marazion Marsh: 1m Garganey, 4 Common Sandpiper, 4 White Wagtail.

Nanjizal: Red-rumped Swallow.

Sibleyback Reservoir: 1m Lesser Scaup still, 1 Cuckoo.

Goss Moor: 1 Little Bunting still present, 3 Grasshopper Warbler, 1 Cetti’s Warbler, 1 Sedge Warbler and 1 Willow Tit

Windmill Farm: 1 Ring Ouzel, 2 Grasshopper Warbler

Rosewall Hill, St Ives: 5 Ring Ouzel at 06:30 before flying off north east

Marazion Marsh RSPB: 1 Swift over West at 10:30, 1 drk Garganey

Caerthillian Cove: 1 female Red-footed Falcon on wires by the pumping station at 20:20 before flying off low east.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 1 Cattle Egret reported again on Ryan’s Field, also 1 Common Sandpiper

Penryn: Red Kite circling over Penryn at 12:30 before heading towards Falmouth.

21st April 2017

Penzance: 1 White Stork flew over heading west at 13:10.

Hayle Estuary RSPB: 43 Whimbrel, 4 Common Sandpiper, 14 Dunlin, 6 Ringed Plover, 1 Bar-tailed Godwit and 1 juv Song Thrush on Carnsew Pool. 1w Spoonbill

Marazion Marsh RSPB: Drake Garganey and Tufted Duck still

Lizard Point: 2 Great-Northern Diver (s.p) , 6 Whimbrel, 2 Bar-tailed Godwit, 2 Dunlin, 1 Woodchat Shrike (on hedgerow and feeding in ploughed field next to Lizard Village 07:10 – 07:20

Kynance Cove to Soapy Cove (coastal path): 1(m) Ring Ouzel (above Kynance Cove)

Goonhilly Downs: 1 Little Ringed Plover, 2 Cuckoo, 2 Siskin.

Goss Moor: 1 Little Bunting still present, also 1 Cuckoo.

Walmsley Sanctuary (members only): 1 Wood Sandpiper and drake Garganey still. (M Pass)

Siblyback Reservoir: 1m Lesser Scaup.

Bude: 3 Cattle Egret.

Maer Lake: 3 Cattle Egret.

Rame: 7 Wheatears,1  Grasshopper Warbler, 2 Willow Warblers, 8 Whitethroats,6m Blackcaps, 1 Wood Warbler

Polgigga: 1st Swift of the year over, otherwise quiet 26 Wheatear,9 WW,s,White Wag,2 Whimbrel. Red Kite east at 15:20 (M Wallace) (just happened to notice this come in at 14:07 on twitter, so posted at 14:08)

Porthgwarra: 4 Red Kite over at 11:25 plus 1 over Polgigga at 12:20, 49 Wheatear in the area, 1 juv Iceland Gull at Arden-Sawah.

Crows-an-Wra: 1 Red Kite circling over A.30 at 14:45-15:00

Zennor (Eagle’s Nest):   1 Red Kite being harassed by  Buzzards. (R J Matthews)

Marazion: 1 Ruff and 5 Whimbrel on the beach west of Red River. (P St Pierre)

Hayle Estuary: 1 Spoonbill still.

Stithians Reservoir: 1 Red Kite (presumed subad) W at 14:15

Carnmenellis: 3 Red Kites over at around 19:15

Crousa Downs: 1 Purple Heron flew over  heading strongly East towards Coverack around 18.00
