Buttermilk Hill: 5 Ring Ouzel dropped in this morning with 4 females and a single male which was singing, Cuckoo, 9 Wheatear, Linnets and Meadow Pipits all building nests, 40 plus Swallows feeding at a considerable height. (V Stratton)
